Tried Javed Nihari last night for Iftaar & It tasted like home nihari so it was really comforting. But man, I can go on and ON about the garlic butter naan!! I would say one of the best naans in HTX!! I was eating it by itself most of the time! The whole meal was delicious and the service was great! Do check them out!!

One of the best Nihari and qourma ever in Houston and surrounding area. Very nice people and family owned business. There are plenty of desi dishes available with options to book for parties and events. Definitely recommend it

We recently visited Javed Nihari in Houston and tried a variety of dishes, from nihari to daal and an assortment of meats. Hands down, this is one of the best places I have ever experienced for nihari. In fact, I would confidently say that no one in Texas can make a better nihari than this place. The meat was incredibly tender, falling off the bone effortlessly, while the bone marrow was rich, flavorful, and perfectly infused with oils and spices. While the seating area is not very large, the outstanding quality of the food more than makes up for it, making everything else a minor concern. Despite the richness and bold flavors, we were pleasantly surprised that the food sat well with us. Often, heavily spiced South Asian cuisine can feel overwhelming, but here, it was perfectly balanced—flavorful without being overpowering. Instead of feeling sluggish, I felt completely satisfied and energized. Without a doubt, this is a 5-star experience, and I highly recommend Javed Nihari to anyone looking for authentic and exceptional South Asian cuisine.
